Congratulations to 2022 Rob Koranda Scholarship Award Recipients Ashley Kushner and Julian Sampson!

Ashley played volleyball all four years in high school and was captain of the team during her junior and senior years. She was president of Student Government this year, an Adaptive PE Leader, and a member of National Honors Society. Her coach nominated her for the RAK Award, because “she demonstrates a high level of inclusivity and compassion for her peers.” Ashley will be attending the University of Iowa in the fall to study speech pathology.

Julian played football all four years at NNHS and was captain during his senior year. He also played baseball and ran track. At NNHS, Julian made it a priority to get to know his fellow classmates in order to contribute to building the strong Huskie community. His teacher shared that this year Julian often ate lunch with a group of freshmen to help them get acclimated to high school. Julian will be attending Stetson University in Florida in the fall to study engineering.
